Get to know all about Ya Herd - what we do, our mission and our history. Ya Herd is a Nigerian Dwarf goat and Kune Kune breeder. We milk our goats nearly year-round and have goat milk available for crafting and pet food. On occasion we have pork for sale as well as livestock. We believe that natural and fresh food is fundamental to a healthy lifestyle. Our mission is to grow quality pasture raised pork, raw goat milk, and free range eggs. We also do our best to promote sustainable and natural farming processes. We think happy animals make delicious products!

Our History

Where It All Began

It all began with a kitten. When i was 4 or 5 years old my parents took me to a farm outside of augusta ga to pick out a kitten. Little did they know that a little visit would plant the seed for my desire to have a farm 25 years later. That one kitten snowballed into any and every animal that i could fit into my parents modest home. Now that i have a beautiful plot of land of my own i have all of the animals that i couldnt get when i was a little girl living in the city, My dreams became complete when my fianceTyler joined me on the farm rather shortly after we met. Now we homestead together, enjoying our home grown pork, farm fresh goat milk and free range eggs!
